KwaZulu-Natal: At 09H20 Monday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Stockville Road in Mahogany Ridge, Durban West Region.
Reports indicate that the driver of a truck lost control, resulting in the truck rolling down an embankment, coming to rest upside down.
When medics arrived on the scene, they found the front cab completely crushed.
Rescue staff were forced to use hydraulic tools to access the occupants.
Sadly upon closer inspection, both the driver and passenger, both adult males had sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased on the scene.
Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
