Truck Driver wanted immediately: Salary R15 000 to R20 000 per month

SUMMARY

Transporting raw materials from manufacturing plant to distribution centers. Other duties include inspecting their vehicles for mechanical issues relating to safe operation, and basic repair work. You are responsible in ensuring that the right quantity of loads reaches the destination in time.

DUTIES:

Responsibilities mainly involve:

Delivery / Collection of stock/goods
Stock control (invoice must match goods in the vehicle)
Correct receipt and delivery of inventory
Correct and speedy delivery of stock according to specifications/invoice/documents of clients
Route planning (optimal utilization of cargo space)
Securely transport the load to ensure minimal losses
Maintenance of vehicle according to set specifications
Maintenance of personal driving license and related permits
Maintaining general cleanliness
The excellent customer experience (maintaining internal & external stakeholder relations)
Take on additional tasks relating to driving

NB: (Deliveries/collections may at times, occur after hours)

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRES

Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent

4 to 6 years minimum trucking driving experience (side tippers)

CODE 14 valid driver’s license/permits (plus all other relevant permits)

No current License Suspension or Revocation

Experience in driving abnormal loads or heavy loads

Clean DAC report
