Award-winning artist Sunny Boy, has shared an emotional throwback post reflecting back to the day he was involved in a car accident. As the world commemorates ascension day, which many believe is the day that Jesus ascended into heaven.
Sunny Boy penned a post to celebrate the gift of life after his accident, which left him unable to walk for a few days. Sunnyboy said he was involved in the car accidents whilst coming from the founding father’s birthday party in the north.
The muso posted a snap of him in a wheelchair and wrote: “Throwback Thursday, that other time we got into a car accident coming from the founding father’s birthday party in the north. I couldn’t walk for days coz my backbone was injured by a subwoofer that fell on it as the car was rolling. It was a scary moment for me. But it’s in these times that I feel a warm presence around me. This presence guides me and gives me an abundance of hope that I will be alright. And I always find your source and tap and tap into it when you feel at your lowest, lost or in danger.. you will come out alright. HAPPY ASCENSION DAY.
We are glad that he did not sustain any permanent and serious injuries, as he is still able to celebrate life.
