Khayalethu Magadla’s father: ‘They must do a thorough search’

Khayalethu Magadla’s father says rescue teams must find the body of his son.

Kholekile Magadla says he is disappointed that the city has called off the search.

Meanwhile, poor infrastructure maintenance is partly to blame for the death of Magadla.

That is according to Professor David Everatt from the WITS school of governance.

He says the government needs to go out there and fix open manholes to prevent children from dying.
