Thembi Seete joins campaign to donate shoes to 1000 learners at Limpopo school

Joining the #KrushGoodness project, Thembi Seete visited Moriting Primary School where she helped distribute school shoes to over 1000 learners.

Thembi is part of a long list of local stars, which includes Connie Ferguson, Lalla Hirayama and Ayanda Thabethe, who are a part of the campaign which has seen them visit schools across the country to hand over shoes to children in need.

Speaking about the experience in a press statement, Thembi says she chose to partake because she believes the youth “now more than ever deserve impactful mentorship that is beneficial to their individual paths.”

“Children are honestly the pioneers of tomorrow. The #KrushGoodness project paves a way for us guardians to serve as the rightful point of reference, where we can educate and encourage our kids about the importance of staying in school and completing school,” she added.

Thembi is not the only local star who is doing her part to better communities within South Africa – TV personality Maps Maponyane recently took time out to help the Western Cape community of Langrug on an urgently needed water activation for settlement’s 7000 residents.
