Five suspects implicated in Thabo Bester’s brazen prison escape are continuing their fight for freedom.
It’s the second day of their bail application in the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court.
Former G4S wardens and a CCTV technician allegedly helped the murderer escape prison in May last year.
Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s legal team informed the court she was reserving her right to apply for bail at a later stage.
Meanwhile, Mmereka Ntshani, aka Dr Pashy, is demanding an apology and retraction from Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi.
The apology relates to statements by the minister that Nandipha Magudumana was found in possession of two passports belonging to Dr Pashy.
Motsoaledi has been served with legal papers.
