On Monday, and current Mango CEO Nico Bezuidenhout will finalise his testimony into whether or not former SAA Chairperson Dudu Myeni should be declared a delinquent director.
Bezuidenhout last week detailed how Myeni was directly involved in procurement processes at the embattled SOE and was integral to the cancellation of a contract with Emirates that would’ve seen R1-billion injected into the airline.
Last week Thursday, SAA announced it would cancel 48 local and international flights in an attempt to cut costs.

In other news – Mampintsha steals R20 000
Event organizer and owner of Gesh Lounge and Entertainment Bhekani Ndlovu said Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo stole his money. Ndlovu booked him for The Weekend Shutdown on 29 December but the singer didn’t pitch.
“Mampintsha told me he was booked for another gig here in Empangeni and didn’t mind coming to Gesh Lounge afterwards. He demanded that I pay R20 000 before the event,” he told Daily Sun. Read more
