Gauteng: At 08H12 Thursday morning Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the corners of Northumberland and Honeydew Roads in Northgate.
Reports indicate that an adult male motorcyclist and bakkie were involved in a T-bone collision.
The patient was found to have sustained critical injuries and was treated on scene by medics.
A Netcare 911 helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift the man to the hospital however upon landing the patient’s condition rapidly deteriorated.
A full advanced life support resuscitation was initiated however despite best efforts by all involved the patient had succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
