Position Purpose
The role of the Stores Assistant is to be a team player in the Deltamune Supply Chain. The individual mainly works on the forefront of the Stores, responsible for the issuing and receiving of stock.
Key Accountabilities:
- Placing of orders with external suppliers to ensure stock levels are optimum to company requirements.
- Picking and packing of orders for internal clients, as well as issuing of stock on the accounting system.
- Receiving of all stock, checking received stock in accordance with purchase orders, physical stock and invoice from supplier.
- Compliance with the company’s Quality System, brand, methodology.
- Periodic Reporting as required.
- Adhere to the delegation of authority as per company policy.
- Undertake all activities as per the required standards, policies and procedures.
- General Housekeeping.

Specifications
Qualifications:
- Matric or equivalent
- Qualification in supply chain or warehouse management will be advantageous. Alternatively, a formal qualification in stock control or accounting will serve as an advantage
Knowledge / Experience:
- Minimum three years’ experience in a stock control environment.
- Knowledge of ACCPAC will be advantageous.
- MS Office applications.
Skills / Attributes / Competencies:
- Alignment with Deltamune’s values.
- Must give attention to detail.
- Numeracy, Literacy and Accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively at different levels.
- A valid Forklift Licence will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, in accordance with polices and procedures.
- Highly organised.

- Able to work flexi-hours and overtime (including weekends and public holidays)
