Our client is looking for a Stock Controller in the Randburg area.
Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an Inventory/Stock Controller in an operations, workshop or similar environment and in charge of incoming goods, processing purchase orders, receiving deliveries and ensuring everything is accounted for in those deliveries.
Minimum of a matric level of education
Excellent organisation skills as they are in charge of all receipts of incoming merchandise and plan on how to unload and store the merchandise;
Perform daily stock counts, process returns to suppliers and identify credit notes, etc
Assertiveness and strong supervisory skills are further important necessary attributes;
Ability to communicate in English is essential
Proven ability to work proactively and without supervision as part of a team in a disciplined manner using initiative;
A strong administrative background;
The ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure is important;
Prepared to perform shift work, overtime and duty weekends;
Must have a Valid code 8 driver’s license
Knowledge of diesel engines in a heavy commercial vehicle environment.
KPAs
To ensure efficient operation of workshop administration support in relation to volumes of work
Ensure that vehicle down time is kept within acceptable time of service.
Book out spares and supply to the technicians/ mechanics
Handling the booking in/out of trucks from the workshop.
