Prosecutors reject s-e-x abuse cases involving Kevin Spacey and Steven Seagal

LA prosecutors have cited the statute of limitations while saying they won’t file s-e-xual assault cases against actors Kevin Spacey and Steven Seagal involving incidents in the early 1990s.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office made no comments on Tuesday on the merits of the accusations.

The cases were reviewed by a task force established to evaluate s-e-x abuse allegations in the entertainment industry in the wake of dozens of women accusing disgraced film mogul Harvey Weinstein and others of abuse.

Allegations of sexual harassment against Kevin Spacey first surfaced in October 2017, when an actor recalled that Kevin had made a s-e-xual advance on him when he was 14 years old in the 1980s.

The former House of Cards actor then faced fresh allegations of sexual harassment in Britain, which allegedly took place in the early 2000s.

Steven Seagal became embroiled in Hollywood’s widening sexual misconduct scandal after three Hollywood actresses reported cases of sexual assault by the actor/producer, which allegedly took place in the 1990s.

A fourth woman later came forward, saying Steven assaulted when she was a 17-year-old aspiring model in 2002. He later denied all allegations.

Representatives for Spacey and Seagal did not immediately return emails seeking comment.
