Botswana thanks South Africa for ensuring the safety of sole bus survivor

Botswana’s High Commissioner to South Africa Sanji Monageng has thanked Limpopo Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba for ensuring the safety of the sole survivor of a bus crash that claimed 45 lives.

The Botswana nationals died in a bus crash over the Easter weekend on their way to Moria in Limpopo.

They were laid to rest on Saturday.

Monareng said Ramathuba played an active role in ensuring that the eight-year-old survivor was safe until she was transported back to her home country.

“I thank you very much for your leadership, from the day of the accident to the last day, in particular, for the love, care and support given to the soul survivor, our little girl.”
