SOCIAL WORKER – BALLITO, DURBAN

ENVIRONMENT:
Physical Rehab / Sub-Acute / Multi-Disciplinary Team

TYPE:
Permanent, Full-Time Position

Start Date:

REQUIREMENTS:
• Qualified Social Worker
• Registered with SACSSP and HPCSA
• Current and valid BHF Billing Practice Number
• Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience
• Excellent Communications Skills .
• Advanced Computer Literacy – MS Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that clients are motivated to attend therapy as far as possible.
• Continuous re-assurance of clients by addressing their specific needs
• Conduct one-on-one sessions with patients and their families .
• Recommend and at times make decisions about the best course of action for patients
• Organize and manage packages of support for clients.
