Requirements:

BA Journalism/Communications/BCOM Digital Marketing or other relevant qualifications.
1 to 3 years of practical experience in online writing or journalism
Computer literacy and proficiency in the internet and social media networking
Knowledge of applicable legislation e.g. PAIA
Interpersonal relations and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Initiative and ability to work independently
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize
Excellent time management and organizational skills, pay attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to work as part of a team, be flexible

Responsibilities:

To represent Kruger National Park on the online platforms
To maintain a daily presence on social media sites and online forums
To monitor the online environment on issues relating to and affecting the organization and respond accordingly
To encourage diversity in the membership on social media and the online forum
To work with marketing and web content team on implementation of online campaigns and monitor campaign performance
To build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
To generate, edit, upload, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful stakeholder connections both internally and externally
To create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
To co-ordinate with all internal divisions to support the organization in its stated objectives and ensuring proper online messaging. Apply Now
