TSU Protection Services is currently recruiting for the suitable candidate to fill the position of a Site Manager.
Required Skills
security management : 2 to 3 years
valid drivers licence : 2 to 3 years
psira grade a : 1 year or less
Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirements
Grade 12 and PSIRA Grade A
Computer literate (proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Health & Safety training
Firefighting training
Level 3 medical (first aid)
Numerical accuracy and high methodical working methods are required
Management qualifications and experience
Operations and Security understanding essential
Valid driver’s licence
Current employment within the company – 3 years minimum
Clear disciplinary record for at least 6 months
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English & Afrikaans)

Key Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
Ensure the security operations executed meet the client’s requirements
Management of sites – site procedures, emergency plans etc – ensure all are in place and executed in accordance with client specifications
Oversee site inductions for new employees
Ensure all site personnel are trained and able to perform their duties, and conduct on-the-job training
Conduct site knowledge tests as required
Co-ordinate advanced training for personnel as required
Conduct regular site visits. Ensure Health & Safety policies are complied with
Management of:
Work schedules of employees on site;
An approved Site Procedure available on site;
Employees reporting for duty completing the attendance register; instruction book is read & signed; luggage checked
Patrols planned and conducted in a controlled manner
All instructions recorded in the instruction book
Co-ordinate investigations of crime scenes/incidents
Complete documentation regarding site administration – risk analysis, site surveys, site audits, letters and reports
Conduct disciplinary actions as required
