Simphiwe Dana pushes back album release date

Award-winning musician Simphiwe Dana has announced that she will be pushing back the release date for her upcoming album, Bamako. The star took to social media to share that due to the coronavirus outbreak, her fifth studio album will be released on 24 April 2020. This is a month ahead of the scheduled 28 March.

Simphiwe said in part; “I regret to mention that my album launch has been moved to the 24th of April #CoronaVirusSA.” She also shared that she will release the second single off the album this week.

She said; “The good news is that the digital release of my next single is still going ahead this friday #Uzokhala #BamakoIsComing #SafetyFirst.” Simphiwe Dana pushes back album release date. We can’t wait to hear her new music.
