
The number of new COVID-19 infections is sitting on 3,699. Gauteng is leading with just over 1,300 cases. It’s followed by the Western Cape with 636 new infections. KwaZulu-Natal has recorded 458 cases.
The North West and Mpumalanga are on just over 300 infections and the Free State recorded 237 cases.
Sadly, a further seven deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to just over 97,500.
The positivity rate stands at 9.7 per cent.
