Residents of Pimville, Soweto have taken to the streets to protest against Eskom on Monday.
Some have been without power for up to two years, despite paying thousands of rands.
Approximately areas in Soweto are without transformer boxes.
Community leader Thabang Moloi says Eskom workers in the area have constantly displayed incompetence.
