We are looking for an experienced sales associate to join our growth team and grow our business across a diverse merchant base and industries in South Africa.

This position will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

As a Sales Associate you will:

Take ownership of sales and business growth in your territories/regions to meet your targets
Identify high-potential prospective customers and grow new revenue from businesses of all sizes
Build and maintain relationships with executives, operational teams and developers
Define and execute new sales strategies to effectively showcase Peach Payments
Work with the product and operations teams to help design new products to solve problems for your merchants
Identify and develop partnership opportunities with development agencies, industry players and other complimentary businesses
Our Ideal Candidate will have

South Africa citizenship or work permit
Experience in customer/client-facing role, with a track record of top performance
Ability to understand the Peach Payments API and build great relationships with highly technical customers
Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
Demonstrated passion for the start-up community and new technology businesses
Strong interest in technology
Nice to haves

Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/software company/Digital Marketing Agency
Prior experience in enterprise sales
Prior experience in the payments industry
