eNCA has been reliably informed that South Africa will be removed from the UK red list.
Fully vaccinated travellers will not need to go into quarantine upon arriving in the UK.
South African scientists had met their UK counterparts to discuss the issue.
There had also been discussions between President Ramaphosa and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Brazil, Indonesia and Mexico are also expected to be removed.
