Word Of Mouth Pictures, the production company behind telenovela Muvhango has been rocked by s.e.xual assault claims lodged by a female employee.

Although neither the victim or the perpetrator were named the incident apparently happened at the Muvhango production offices. The issue was revealed by entertainment writer Phil Mphela whose tweets narrated the story.

A female employee has lodged a sexual misconduct complaint against one of the senior bosses. The incident allegedly happened yesterday at Muvhango production offices.”

It also came to light that although the victim did not get raped there was physical contact with the perpetrator.

“I can confirm that the Wednesday incident is alleged to have been physical.
It was not rape but there was physical contact. The accused is alleged to have even joked about s.e.xual harassment whilst committing the act. That’s the seriousness of it.

It is unclear if the public will ever know who it is but judging from the tweets under Phil’s thread, tweeps have a good idea who the perpetrator is and apparently the sexual harassment has been going on for a while now.
