Western Cape artist in court for s.e.xual assault

A well-known painter from the Bergrivier region of the Western Cape is accused of raping a child.

The 79-year-old made his first appearance in the Piketberg Magistrates Court today.

He’s facing a charge of rape, s.e.xual assault, and grooming.
