Robbie Malinga Jr appreciates his mother Ann Malinga’s role in his life

Robbie Malinga Jr. has expressed profound gratitude to his mother, crediting her for the man he has become. He acknowledges her unwavering support, guidance, and love as key factors in his personal development and success. Robbie’s heartfelt appreciation highlights the significant role his mother played in shaping his character and values, reinforcing the deep bond between them.

The aspirant musician shared that losing his father at the age of 16 was difficult. I was in grade 10 and I had to navigate life without him. I then got to matric and he was not there… he wasn’t there to see me get that far in my schooling.

 

“Fortunately, I managed to get there with the support of my mother [Ann Malinga] – she has been my rock through it all,” he said. Malinga Jr shared that his mother did her best to fill the void he felt when his father passed.

“My mother helped build me into the man I am today. She’s actually the head of the house. She hustles for my sister and I. She makes sure things are still running smoothly when it comes to providing for us,” he said.

“When my dad died, she made sure that the love at home was still the same as when he was still alive.” The 23-year-old is one of the cast members in Born Into Fame – a reality show that follows six ambitious young South Africans with famous parents, now streaming on Showmax.
