Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan has commended Transnet for restoring port operations after a cyberattack.
The main system is back online and others will be operational soon.
Customers are now able to access links to facilitate imports and exports and remaining systems will be brought up to speed gradually.
In the Eastern Cape, container operations are still being restored and vessels are working in parallel with manual processes.
The Western Cape is fully restored.
The department says that no Transnet data was compromised.
