An exciting fast-growing retail company requires the services of a knowledgeable and experienced highly engaged, results-driven and organized Recruitment Manager to join our team.

An achiever with high energy levels and a passion for business success, who is highly driven and enjoys working in a pressurized environment, is expected from the prospective candidate. A strong mind and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the success of the business will be important in this fast-paced industry.

A sound understanding of recruitment practices and strategic thinking are essential. Excellent communication on all levels with strong people skills and a cheerful personality is required.

The Key Performance Areas:

Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance
Assist the recruiting team to find the most suitable staff members for the company
Responsible to fill all vacancies within a reasonable time
Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
Implement new sourcing methods
Research on new job advertising options
Advise managers on interviewing techniques
Stay up-to-date on relevant legislation and inform the recruiting team and managers about changes in regulations
Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
A relevant post-school qualification will be an added advantage
3-4 years of proven experience in recruitment
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Familiarity with HR practices
Managerial and leadership experience
Excellent planning and organizing skills
Own transport needed since the position requires traveling
