Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greeting visitors and clients
- Managing front office area
- Handling queries and complaints via phone, email, and general correspondence
- Transferring calls as necessary
- Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member in time.
- Operate a switchboard to route incoming calls and place outgoing calls.
- Assisting staff with office duties
- Ad hoc duties for HR, accounts, and Directors
- Various types of reports and notices
- Assisting Director when in the office
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Matric
- 1-2 Years experience in similar role
- Computer Skills (Ms Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Excellent verbal communication
- Good telephone communication etiquette
- Organized and resourceful (very important)
- Customer-focused
- Active listener
- Adept at prioritizing, scheduling, and multitasking
- Ability to handle office equipment (e.g., the telephone system, printerand the fax machine)
- Fast and eager learner
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: R500.00 – R1,000.00 per month
Experience:
Administrative office procedures, practices, and equipment: 1 year (Required)
