Angry South Africans react to Rasta’s painting of Minister Jackson Mthembu

Rasta has done it again and Mzansi is fed up. On the heels of Minister Jackson Mthembu‘s death, Rasta has taken it upon himself like he always does and drew a potrait of the late politician. Suffice it to say, the pictures looks nothing like the minister.
RIP to the Minister in Presidency 🙏🏽💐

SA celebs have reacted to the shocking passing of Minister In the Presidency Jackson Mthembu.
His passing was announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa this afternoon on Twitter and he conveyed his condolences to his family.
“It is with deep sorrow and shock that we announce that Minister in the Presidency Jackson Mthembu passed away earlier today from Covid-related complications. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time of loss,” he wrote on Twitter.
The minister’s passing mark yet another loss in the political fraternity this month following the passing of KZN MEC for Transport, Community Safety, and Liaison, Bheki Ntuli. Our favorite Mzansi celebs have taken to social media, to pay tribute to the late minister and send their messages of condolences to his family.
Simphiwe Dana wrote on Twitter “Jackson Mthembu was a very likable politician. May his soul Rest In Peace.” Actor Dumisani Mbebe also expressed his shock at the minister’s passing, “To the late minister Jackson Mthembu family at large: akuhlanga kungehliyo. Nomelele kuba ayiloxesha lokuba ethe-ethe eli! May his soul rest in peace!”
The Naked DJ, Khaya Dlanga, and Anele Mdoda, are amongst some of SA celebs who have reacted to his passing.

The president has described Minister Mthembu, as a leader who was much-loved and greatly respected by many. “Minister Mthembu was an exemplary leader, an activist, and a life-long champion of freedom and democracy. He was a much-loved and greatly respected colleague and comrade, whose passing leaves our nation at a loss. “I extend my deepest sympathies to the minister’s family, to his colleagues, comrades, and many friends.”
This January the nation has suffered major losses of some of Mzansi’s public figures. Just recently legendary actress Lindiwe Ndlovu passed on at her home. The actress will be remembered for her great work ethic and for unwaveringly holding the torch high up for the incoming batch of actors in the industry.
Her family described her as an unsung incredible actress who lived a huge space in the creative world of acting.
“Her bright, large burning light has gone out and we are devastated to bring you this sad news. To us Lindiwe was family but to many, she was so much more,” said her family.
Another devastating death was that of actor legendary actor Sam Phillips. Sam was a prolific actor whose career spanned several decades. His latest project was on The Ferguson’s series Kings of Joburg. The 6-part series Kings Of Joburg was recently picked up by Netflix, and it premiered on December 4th.
