We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager, based in Johannesburg starting as soon as possible.
The role:
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will have responsibility for growing the Johannesburg market and reaching sales goals. The role calls for a leader who will manage a team of 3 Regional Managers as well as drive sales, through hands on involvement in recruitment, screening and coaching of our potential au pairs.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Taking ownership of sales in your region to reach sales targets
Managing and motivating a team of x3 Regional Managers to reach the regional goals
Hire, train, team of Meeting Leaders
Driving sales on the phone through high quality consultative calls
Screening applications from candidates who are interested in the au pair programme
Coaching candidates through the application process in a timely manner
Visiting schools, fairs and universities
Providing excellent customer service
Required to work a min of 1 Saturday per month
Participate in Telemarketing nights on alternate Wednesdays
The successful candidate:
Has completed a tertiary level of education, and is fluent in English
Has a passion for sales and a competitive attitude
Has at least 3 years’ sales experience, ideally with sales over the phone
Has experience managing and motivating a team
Has excellent communication and presentation skills both on the phone and in person
Has creative sales ideas but also displays strong attention to detail whilst performing daily administrative duties
Is self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
Has a charismatic personality, able to work in a team and displays strong leadership skills
Has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and is able to work and meet strict deadlines
Own a car and in possession of a valid South African driver’s license
Knowledge of MS office (Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint), Windows and general comfort with technology
Ideally would have been an au pair or has lived abroad for some time
