We are currently recruiting for 4 Long and Short Distance Courier Drivers
Daily Responsibilities will include :
Adhere to all dispatch instructions to ensure on time delivery.
Ensure vehicle checks are done, recorded and operate company assets with care and precision
Report all vehicle defects before being dispatched.
Ensure vehicle is refuelled, tyre pressures are correct and vehicle equipment are operational and in the vehicle.
Ensure the loading equipment is issued and operational as per the customer’s requirement.
Ensure that all accidents are reported to the responsible individuals and obtain case number
Ensure proper and accurate time keeping trip sheets.
Ensure that vehicles are correctly loaded and secured.
Obey all lawful and reasonable instructions and perform such work as directed by management
Essential Skills Required :
Senior Certificate /Grade 12
Code EC/Ec1 Drivers license with PDP
Energetic.
Reliable.
Display strong common sense with ability to act responsibly and with initiative
Client centred.
Committed.
Sense of urgency.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
Good knowledge of roads/ routes and regulations
Ability to read a map accurately/ follow GPS and dispatch co ordinates
Minimum of two years’ experience on all load types
Responsible and highly safety conscious
