Main Purpose: To take responsibiltiy for the project accounting and administration at the construction site in accordance with the project and company requirements.
Key Performance Areas include:
Manage contracts to ensure compliance with contract terms and mitigating risks.
Prepare tender estimates, budgets and cash flows.
Do cost control and reporting during pre-contract period.
Draft and prepare Bills of Quantities, review enquiry documents and manage commercial contract evaluation and negotiation of the terms and conditions.
Plan and organise all commercial management processes and contractual deadlines, budget and resources for a project.
Manage contract entitlements, variations, payments, claims management and dispute resolution including cost control, reporting and budgeting for main and subcontracts from inception to completion of a project.
Conduct QS meetings with other departments, sub-contractos and client.
Manage and assist direct reports.
Any other job related duties as required from time to time.

Preferred Requirements:
BSc QS, BSc QS (Hons) or BTech QS degree.
Professional registration with SACQSP or RICS.
5 – 10 Years’ Quantity Surveying experience preferably in the mechanical field.
Ability to read and understand project schedules.
Good knowledge of estimating.
Computer literate (MS Office).
