A vacancy needs to be filled for a Quality Controller. The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
1. Implementation of Food Safety and Quality Management system
2. Process Quality Control
3. Non- Conformance and Corrective action
4. Staff training
5. Waste Management
6. Retention sample monitoring
7. Equipment calibration and verification
8. Trending
9. New product development
Required knowledge and skill
A sound knowledge of ISO22000, HACCP, PRPs,
Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point)
Detail orientation
Team building
Good Communication skills
Time managementRequirements**
A proven work experience as quality controller
Record of successful food safety and quality control
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently
A degree in Food Science/ Food Technology or equivalent
