PSG 1-0 Nantes

Paris Saint-Germain’s blistering start to their Ligue 1 campaign continued with a 1-0 victory over Nantes.

As the only unbeaten side in the league, PSG are now well clear to add another domestic title to their roster. It took a late second-half strike from Kylian Mbappe to separate matters and open up an 11-point lead over Losc Lille.

PSGAngers 1-1 Olympique Marseille

Marseille grabbed a 1-1 draw against Angers away from home.

Following a first-half lead through Stephane Bahoken, the visiting outfit pulled clear eight minutes from the final whistle thanks to Bouna Sarr.

The result does little for Angers, as it moves them just one step down from 14th to 15th place while Marseille remains in sixth place.

Strasbourg 2-0 OGC Nice

Strasbourg sailed past Nice with a 2-0 triumph at the Stade de la Meinau on Saturday night.

It took goals from Adrien Tomasson and Lamine Kone just before halftime to set them on their way, while Nice’s European objectives are now hanging by a serious thread.

AS Monaco 0-2 Guingamp

Monaco’s woes continued after being brought down to earth by rock-bottom Guingamp on their own patch.

After a goalless first half, Marcus Thuram opened the deadlock after the midway stage before Nolan Roux made matters safe 15 minutes before time.

The gap between the league’s bottom-two has now been cut to just two points, with nothing but trouble staring the hosts in the face.

Montpellier 1-1 Olympique Lyon

Montpellier and Lyon settled for a 1-1 draw at the La Mosson arena, with both the goals coming in the second half.

Lyon was the first to strike courtesy of an effort from Nabil Fekir late on, but Ruben Aguilar prevented their chances of maximum points with the leveller later on.
