Description
Role purpose
To ensure all manufacturing processes are well managed and controlled.
To deliver quality product on time in full.
To create a sustainable performing team.
To deliver continuous improvements and ensure a CI culture is created within your respective teams.
Accountabilities
Ensure that safe working takes place at all times and that a culture, founded in HSE, is created.
Manage production processes to ensure good quality and consistency is achieved during manufacturing.
Ensure materials usage is well managed and controlled.
Drive process improvements in the formulation or fill & pack production lines.
Deliver initiatives that will reduce waste generation and reduce variable production costs.
Manage a diverse team of employees.
Ensure continuous people development takes place that will deliver a sustainable high performing workforce.
Overseeing, implementing and co-ordinating autonomous maintenance in your area.
Incorporate Operational Excellence in your ways of working to improve the delivery of value-adding activities.
Reduce and manage process risks that can compromise product quality.
Implement systems that will improve the ways of working.
Work alongside other departments/teams to ensure the strategic objectives of the company is achieved.
Qualifications
Required Qualification
B.Tech degree or Trade qualification (Millwright or Electrical trade)
Critical knowledge & Experience
Work experience required within a manufacturing environment
Experience in dealing with a diverse team
Supervisory experience
Critical Skills
Analytical-, systematic- & a sharp-thinker
Process & detail orientated
The ability to work within tight deadlines
Able to work well in a team
Good communication skills
Able to read and write in English
Engage constructively in a team environment
Able to comprehend instructions given verbally or written
Mechanical, electrical or chemical equipment knowledge.
