Here are the road closures for President Ramaphosa’s inauguration at the Union Buildings

President-elect Cyril Ramaphosa’s inauguration will take place at the Union Buildings on Wednesday, 19 June 2024.

The event is expected to be attended by the president-elect of the Republic of South Africa, foreign heads of state, invited guests, and members of the public.

Streets in the vicinity of the Union Buildings, Sunnyside, and Hatfield will be affected by road closures on 19 June.

The closures around the Union Buildings will be implemented from 3 am on 19 June until 6 am on Thursday, 20 June 2024.

Controversial Mzansi rapper, Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Chauke is being investigated following the death of his daughter in a fatal car crash. The South African musician was driving his Volkswagen Polo when it collided with a truck on the R37 Road next to Smelters Mine in Limpopo.
