Introduction:
Responsible for collecting and delivering in-patient prescriptions to and from wards and units within the hospital. Delivering of ward stock to and from wards and units within the hospital.

Specification:
- Collect and deliver prescriptions in the wards as per SLA with extra care and accuracy, ensuring no losses are incurred by the hospital.
- Deliver ward stock to the correct units and timeously.
- Ensure accurate record keeping of all the deliveries between the wards and pharmacy to allow the measurement turnaround time.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, in all daily duties.
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all the internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a level of professionalism when dealing with patients, staff including other internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the pharmacy department by continuously learning and seeking relevant training, effectively communicating challenges and ways to improve the pharmacy services, have the ability to seek feedback and continuously assessing own performance.
Requirements:
- Matric Pass.
- 1-year experience as a Porter.
- Preferable experience in a private hospital.
