Pick n Pay attacked in Zambia as they protest against #XenophobiaInSouthAfrica

Zambians join the likes of Nigeria protesting against Xenophobic Attacks happening in South Africa. Earlier we shared a video of UNZA students marching to the South African Embassy and it seems now the march has escalated as the angry students attacked Pick n Pay.

They were also reports that Shoprite at Mandahill was attacked by the group of people. Clearly the impact of Xenophobia in South Africa is causing a major economic impact as chain stores from South Africa are being attacked.

Despite the fact that more than 85 per cent of workers in these shops are Zambians, the UNZA students feel they need to send a message to South Africa and the rest of the World that Xenophobia is not good for everyone.
