Requirements:
Qualification as a Post-Basic Pharmacist’s Assistant (Institutional Sector)
Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council as a Pharmacist’s Assistant (Post-basic)
At least 1 to 3 years experience
Administrative experience in a clinic
A valid Code EB driver’s license will be an advantage.
Key Performance Areas:
Assist in managing and controlling pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical stock by ordering, receiving and checking requisitions
Store pharmaceutical products
Monitor and maintain stock
Dispense and check pharmaceutical products and provide
instructions regarding the use of medication
Perform administrative functions as required
Work under indirect supervision at 1 or more sites.
