PAYROLL CLERK needed urgently: APPLY HERE

An exciting, fast-growing retail company requires the services of a highly motivated, knowledgeable and skilled Payroll Clerk.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all the day to day processing of payroll related activities in the payroll department.

An achiever with high energy levels, who is highly meticulous, deadline-driven an enjoys working in a pressurized environment, is expected from the prospective candidate.

Key responsibilities

Accurate processing of new and temporary employees, overtime, promotions, terminations, staff purchases, incentives, and all other payroll-related data.
Accurate processing of all benefit payments and documentation such as provident fund, risk contributions, medical benefits, and maternity benefits.
Management of T&A system and verification of all timekeeping information
Investigate and resolve all payroll related queries
Distribution of IRP5 certificates, benefit statements, and payslips where applicable
Preparing all monthly reports for payroll finalization

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or NQF 4 certificate
Human Resources and Payroll certification advantages
Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience
Working knowledge of Payroll system, ESS, Timekeeping systems
Intermediate to advanced level of Computer Literacy (MS Office)
Solid knowledge on relevant legislation and HR Policies and Practices
