Merchant West is looking for a driven and dedicated individual who is ready to take on a new challenge with a proven track record to join our successful team as the Payroll Administrator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full payroll function of three companies, including but not limited to loading of new employees, reporting on EMP201 and EMP501, submitting of benefit reports as well as government reporting.
Key Performance Areas:
Compelling new employee files with all required information.
Loading new employees onto payroll and updating any changes on employees masterfile, payslips and tax.
Reviewing of all claims and leave on ESS as well as batching into payroll.
Loading of benefits, study loans and sundry deduction.
Monthly benefit reports.
Submitting of UI19, EMP201 and EMP501.
General HR related admin duties.
Candidate Requirements
Job Specifications:
HR related Degree.
1 – 2 Years’ experience in HR and/or payroll.
Experience on Sage Pastel Payroll.
Analytical and Problem Solving.
Understanding of tax.
