A deal for Paul Pogba to swap Manchester United for Real Madrid is “practically done,” according to prominent Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda.
Pogba, who was named in the PFA top-flight Team of the Year, had a brilliant resurgence after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho but his form has dipped again in recent weeks.
The France international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for a while but the rumours have ramped up since Zinedine Zidane returned as their manager.
In the last week or so The Sun has claimed that Pogba ‘has made it clear’ to United that he wants to leave. But he can only go for £120m if he lodges a transfer request to leave.
And now that potential transfer to the Spanish giants has moved a step closer if Inda – the former head of Spanish newspaper Marca – is to be believed.
“Pogba is practically done,” Inda said.
“The first to appear will be Eden Hazard and the next will be Pogba.
“He has agreed to lower his Manchester United salary: from £13m net per year to £10m.
“Adidas is pressing a lot because he is one of the two franchise players of the brand.”
