Orlando Pirates Given The Day Off

Orlando Pirates have been given the day off today to spend with their families after being hard at work since Saturday.

Bucs returned to training on December 28, after the Christmas break, with Jozef Zinnbauer in full preparations for his second match at the helm of the team.

Pirates will face Bloemfontein Celtic away on January 04 in their first game of the new decade, however, have one more day of rest before getting back to preparations.

Bucs will have the day off today as they head into the new year with their loved ones, this before heading right back to work tomorrow, January 01.

Pirates will have Thembinkosi Lorch back for their first game of the year after the playmaker was suspended for two league fixtures following a red card booking.

Pirates will play Celtic, Polokwane City, Mamelodi Sundowns, Highlands Park and AmaZulu FC in the month of January, as they look to try and climb further up the league standings after moving to fifth after the final game of 2019.

With the likes of Cape Town City and Stellenbosch FC already making new signings, it remains to be seen whether Bucs will look to make any new additions to their squad before the first game of the year.
