Western Cape police say they are hot on the heels of four suspects who shot and killed four people and wounded four others in the Browns Farm area in Nyanga over the weekend.
Provincial Police Commissioner, Thembisile Patekile, says they have narrowed down possible motives to extortion, revenge, and organised hits.
A total of 8 people have been killed in Nyanga in one week.
