On Skeem Saam, a relationship built on lies has ended in tears for Ntswaki and Toby. The lies came from the underage Ntswaki, who told Toby she was in varsity.
Although she lied, the fact remains that she was violated and deserves justice. Toby had invited her to his home, where they had planned to take their relationship to the next level. While in the moment of heat, she changed her mind and calmly told him to stop but he didn’t.
Toby clearly doesn’t understand what consent means. In his head, what happened was consensual. He’s now in trouble with the law and is trying to prove his “innocence”.
There’s no excuse for what happened to Ntswaki; it’s actually sad and she’s struggling to cope. However, she shouldn’t have lied about her age. A lesson to other youngsters is to focus on school and remember the childhood lesson of the seven Bs, Books Before Boys Because Boys Bring Babies.
The case with Rea and the scammer, Luc, needs to come to a halt quickly. It’s dragging on a lot longer than necessary. She’s holding Luc hostage instead of being a good cop and arresting him. If she’s trying to get back Jacobeth’s money, which was stolen by Luc and his accomplice Kganyago, she should just go and search his house as it’s probably stashed under the mattress. He wouldn’t dare bank it cause he’s the biggest tsotsi, who’s continued to scam many unsuspecting women.
