Things have been rough for popular Mzansi rapper Emtee whose career has been downward for the last few years. His marriage to fashion designer Nicole Chinsamy also hit the spotlight after reports of abuse from both sides went viral. In 2023, news of a looming divorce started circulating.
It would appear all that is water under the bridge for the couple who were spotted together at an NBA basketball game last weekend. A video of the couple and their kids sitting courtside has left social media users buzzing.
Local rapper real name Mthembeni Ndevu is working hard to return to the top spot in terms of rap artists in Africa.
In February this year, he announced that he had signed on a new manager and was working on new music.
In June 2023, the Pearl Thusi hitmaker pleased fans after revealing that he was getting a divorce from his wife Nicole who has accused him of abuse on multiple occasions in the past.
Just months earlier, a video of the pair having a verbal altercation went viral. In the clip, Nicole shared photos of bruises she alleged were a result of Emtee assaulting her.
She also revealed that she had pressed charges against the award-winning artist. The charges were later withdrawn.
Later that year, Emtee shared that things were “okay” between him and Nicole and that he was having regular visits with his children.
“Right now, things are okay, I can say because I can get to see my kids and spend time with them, I’m grateful for that,” he said during an interview.
It would appear that things are more than okay for the couple who have seemingly reunited.
The pair were spotted together at an NBA match that took place over the weekend in Johannesburg. In a now-viral clip, they can be seen sitting side by side while their children sit in the row behind them.
