New Scam Alert – Careful of Fake FNB inContact Messages

New Scam Alert – Careful of Fake FNB inContact Messages. There is a new scam that scammers are using to rob you of your hard earned cash. I am pretty sure is a phishing email that is hyperlinked the Fake inContact Message.

FNB Banking App

The name of the account is the one they are trying to trick you with, they named it inContact.fnb.co.za BUT be warned this is not your FNB Bank sending this message.

The email is actually coming from – Incontact.fnb.co.za <hpr@cicapglobal.com> and once you receive this email delete it without clicking any links. Don’t be tricked with the headline of the message, my subject said – FNB Bill Pay Alert[R11,999]!

I noticed 3 things first, 1) The email address that I received the email on is not linked to my FNB Account. 2) The inContact email is not the same one FNB uses. 3) Why would I need to click a blue link to stop a transfer?

So be warned of this new SCAM that they are using to rob you of your hard earned money. See a picture of the email I received.

FNB Scam Alert

Please once you see the above email delete it immediately. I used red arrows to show you what you should look for to determine that this email is FAKE.
