Naval Architect Superyachts urgently needed: Salary R55 000 to R83 000 per month
The architect develops technical custom new builds. In the position you are responsible for the design and storage of the internal calculations and drawings.
Activities:
Responsible for the design, realization and optimization of hull forms and valves
Checking and agility trials of influences from the sea
Checking of calculations on weight, size and propulsion
Design and calculation of new projects in the field of new builds , tanks, engines and other equipment.
Providing information for specifications and collecting and analyzing this information
Supervise the general plan and whether the layout as drawn
Responsible for the proper equipment to fires, accidents, etc.
Responsible for escape and rescue plan suspension
When are you an addition to the team?
-Bachelor/Master Naval Architecture or equivalent;
-Experience in the custom new builds;
-Experience in design calculations;
-Knowledge of regulations, rules and procedures;
-Command of the English language both spoken and written;
-Can work together in multidisciplinary team.
