The N3 between Hilton and Cedara is operating normally on Tuesday morning after Monday’s fatal multi-vehicle crash. Shelters were set up at the Umngeni Town Hall and the taxi industry is providing transport for stranded travellers.
At least five people died and up to 100 were injured in the accident. Mark Winterboer from Midlands EMS said several people were stuck in their cars
