Murder linked MEC to appear in court on Tuesday

The MEC, who handed himself over to police earlier on Monday, will appear at the Nelspruit Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The Mpumalanga ANC PEC will hold an urgent special meeting to decide on the fate of the MEC who is accused of being involved in an August shooting incident that left two people dead and a third wounded.

Suspects Joseph Charlie Ngwenya, 35, and Tshepo Matsane, 30, were arrested on 17 September. Both suspects have already appeared in court twice and they were granted R20,000 bail last Friday.
