DJ Zinhle and her bae Murdah Bongz melt hearts
The Easter weekend usually comes with the spirit of giving and celebrating it with those we love hence DJ Zinhle, Murdah Bongz, and Maps Monyane decided to head this call.
The trio has become one of Mzansi’s most charitable celebs with hearts of gold and they spare no expenses to do their bit for those who are needy during these trying times.
It is no secret that the scourge of homelessness remains one of the world’s biggest global challenges and seeing our celebrities addressing it and changing the lives of those who are needy is heartwarming. This past weekend the celebrities decided to lend a helping hand to homeless people in Durban.
The stars partnered with NS Impact Foundation to donate 200 backpacks and fed 1000 people. In a post, the foundation wrote “Our bags are packed and we’re ready for another day of doing good in #Durban! Homelessness is a global pandemic. To help ease the hardship, we’ve partnered with @uzwelobags to design a unique backpack with homelessness in mind. Today we’ll be delivering over 200 of these backpacks filled with care items to those in need.”
DJ Zinhle also took to her Instagram account to show love to the foundation and her partners for the amazing work they did.
Another star who recently showcased her heart of gold again on her birthday is Shauwn Mkhize. The entrepreneur spent her birthday at Saints Hospitality Centre, a shelter for young girls who have been violated. MaMkhize said when she was a kid her family home was burned down and they were taken to the shelter and she recently decided to visit it and was appalled by its state.
The entrepreneur revamped the place and donated blankets, beds, and prepared meals for the young girls.
In a post she wrote, “So this is how I had initially planned to spend my birthday. Spending time with these young queens was absolutely blissful and for me being able to put smiles on their faces meant the world to me.❤️❤️👸👸 🥰🥰. For me it’s really about doing things that matter, making a difference and touching lives wherever I can. I am not the government, I’m just me, doing me! , dancing to my own drum.”
As she celebrated her birthday recently Mamkhize took to Instagram to reflect on all the successes she has achieved in life and shared a powerful message with her fans.
She prayed that may this year brings more blessings and thanked her parents for raising her to become the woman she is today.
