Mshoza speaks out on her struggles with drunkenness

A couple of days ago, Zahara opened up about her struggles with alcohol when she revealed that she knew she needed help after she finished a bottle of wine by herself and since then, many celebrities and fans have been opening up about their experiences with the bottle and addiction in general.

One such star is Mshoza who opened up about her struggle with the bottle. In an interview on Moja Love’s, Show Me Love, Mshoza revealed that after Lebo Mathosa passed away, she relied on the bottle to deal with her pain.

In another interview with Tshisa Live, Mshoza further explained herself, “before I knew it, I had to have tons of alcohol in my house and lots of people, all the time. I didn’t want to be alone. I think at some point, I had over 12 people staying with me in my house and we would drink all the time.”

Mshoza is not one to hide anything about her life, a couple of months ago, she revealed scary details about the abuse she allegedly endured in her marriage, “I have opened a case of theft, gunpoint, assault and a lot of things that have happened, I am aware that he is denying the fact that he pointed the gun at me and all of that, but I guess that will be sorted out in court. I believe that he will get arrested today,” she said at the time.

It’s great to see musicians open up about their struggles with alcohol, it not only highlights the dangers of alcohol but also reveals how you can seek and find help in combating alcoholism.
